RECALL 97V-012- WINNEBAGO INDUSTRIES, INC HAS DETERMINED THAT A DEFECT EXISTS IN CERTAIN WINNEBAGO AND ITASCA MOTOR HOMES BUILT BETWEEN 1989 AND 1997- THE DEFECT IS IN THE SPARE TIRE CARRIER HOIST SYSTEM- DURING TRANSIT, THE HOIST COMPONENTS MAY BECOME LOOSE AND ALLOW THE SPARE TIRE TO MOVE FROM ITS STORED POSITION TO THE ROAD SURFACE WHICH IN TURN MAY CAUSE UNKNOWN CONSEQUENCES- BODILY INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE MAY RESULT FROM THESE INCIDENTS- RECALL 97V-012. *JD
