Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions

Motorcycle and scooter models equipped with a smart key system are supplied with one smart key (also called a âkey fobâ) and a card containing the âsmart key emergency code.â Itâs extremely important to record the vehicleâs unique emergency code properly on the Predelivery Inspection (PDI) sheet as well as in the Ownerâs Manual. Supply the smart key emergency code card to the customer during unit delivery. In the event both the smart key and emergency code have been misplaced, the only way to remedy the situation is to replace the entire smart key system â a costly solution.

Service Bulletin/Repair Instructions

The 2018~2021 XMAX Service Manuals have been revised to include the cable routing illustrations for the front compartment lock cable, fuel tank lock cable, and also to provide the correct hardware part name in the cylinder head tightening order.
