ServiceNews Article - We have received information from the vendor (Alpine) that display panels are being replaced for cracks on the center display screen. When they review these parts, they're finding that an aftermarket screen protector had been installed and that the screen protector is cracked. So, if you have a center display that appears to have a cracked screen, confirm that it does not have an aftermarket screen protector installed. If installed, remove it, and then check if the center display screen itself is cracked.

Dealer Message - On Monday July 27th, American Honda released Service Bulletin 20-049 for 19-20 Odyssey. Service Bulletin 20-058 for 19-21 Pilot and Passport is forthcoming. These service bulletins are for "Popping or Crackle From Speakers, No Sound From the Audio System, Network Loss Message and/or Display Issues".
Complaint counts are reports filed with NHTSA, not failure rates. A common model collects more of them than a rare one that breaks more often.
