EPQR & TA data provided by retailers to date, shows a varied range of conditions (environmental, drive cycle and road type) that may initiate the known noises. Although the noises do not, in most cases, indicate a degradation in functionality or braking performance, they may lead to customer dissatisfaction and unscheduled retailer visits for repair action. Note: Off road use of the vehicle is not categorised in the communication due to the extended range of parameters and conditions that the vehicle operate at. Defining and describing brake noises is proven to be difficult through our different languages and terminology. ISSUE: A CUSTOMER MAY REPORT THAT DURING CERTAIN DRIVING MANOEUVRES THERE IS A GROAN NOISE FROM THE SUSPENSION THAT LASTS APPROXIMATELY 1 SECOND. THE MAIN DRIVING MANOEUVRES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ARE: 1. STEERING RIGHT AND THEN HITTING A BUMP/RIDGE IN THE ROAD VERY SOON AFTER. 2. STEERING TO THE RIGHT AND THEN SHARPLY STEERING TO THE LEFT. CAUSE: THIS IS CAUSED BY THE FLUID MOVING WITHIN THE DYNAMIC RESPONSE VALVE BLOCK COMBINED WITH RAPID SYSTEM PRESSURE CHANGES.
LTB00794NAS2
SITUATION: A CHEMICAL/PLASTIC ODOR FROM THE CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM MAY BE EVIDENT. CAUSE: THIS MAY BE CAUSED BY PARAMETERS WITHIN THE CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM NOT OPERATING EFFICIENTLY.
LTB00871NAS2
SITUATION: AFTER A SERVICE INTERVAL RESET, THE SERVICE INTERVAL INDICATOR (SII) MAY APPEAR ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER (IC) FOR LESS THAN ONE SECOND WHEN NO SERVICE IS REQUIRED. CAUSE: PARTS QUALITY ISSUE (OPERATIONAL FAILURE AT SUPPLIER DURING MANUFACTURE OF THE SENSOR).
LTB00875NAS1
SITUATION: THE CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER MOTOR MAY INTERMITTENTLY CUT OUT WHEN SET TO MAXIMUM. CAUSE: THIS MAY BE CAUSED DUE TO THE POTENTIAL FOR THE BLOWER MOTOR TO HIT THE UPPER LIMIT FOR CURRENT AND CUT OUT WHEN THE CLIMATE CONTROL IS ON MAXIMUM OR IF THE BLOWER MOTOR IS MANUALLY PUT TO MAXIMUM. THE ISSUE IS INTERMITTENT BECAUSE IT IS HIGHLY DEPENDENT ON THE STATE OF CHARGE OF THE BATTERY AND THE INPUTS TO THE SYSTEM. BLOWER MOTOR OPERATION CAN BE RESET BY EITHER CYCLING THE IGNITION OFF/ON OR BY CYCLING THE CLIMATE CONTROL OFF/ON MANUALLY.
